James Ashley Hadrill is a London based womenswear designer. After gaining his BA Honours from Middlesex University he went on to work for renowned designers including Vivienne Westwood, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi and Diane Von Furstenberg.
James launched his debut collection in 2012 and has since gained significant interest from the industry. The debut collection Daphne and Apollo was reviewed by Laura Craik of The Sunday Times Style magazine describing it as, “polished, romantic and slick … [with] lots of promise” His collection was also featured as part of the Concept Show at Oxford Fashion Week 2014 and was highlighted as a standout by critics.
Celebrity endorsements have included up-and-coming singer songwriter Becka Pimenta as well as April Pearson, from the original E4 series of Skins. James is currently working on his follow-up collection for 2015.
